Withdrawal of Manuscript

Authors are strictly not allowed to withdraw submitted or published manuscripts (unless there are extremely compelling reasons). This policy is enforced because manuscript withdrawal constitutes a significant waste of valuable resources, including the extensive time and effort invested by editors, reviewers, and the publisher in processing, evaluating, and managing the submitted works.

Ethical Note: It is deeply unethical and considered a serious breach of publication ethics to withdraw a submitted or peer-reviewed manuscript from JSLT for the sole purpose of submitting it to another journal after it has been accepted or processed.

If an author still requests the withdrawal of their manuscript under unavoidable circumstances, the author will be required to submit an official "Article Withdrawal Form". This form must be formally signed by all contributing authors (or the corresponding author) explicitly stating the valid and compelling reasons for the withdrawal.

Authors must not assume that their manuscript has been successfully withdrawn until they have received an official, written notification confirming the withdrawal from the JSLT Editorial Office.
