Open Access Policy

Journal of Sharia and Local Traditions (JSLT) provides immediate open access to all of its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Open access in this journal means that all peer-reviewed scientific articles are freely available on the internet. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles for academic and lawful purposes without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.

Key Features of Our Open Access Policy:

Free and Unrestricted Access: Readers can read and download full-text articles without subscription fees or paywalls.
Global Visibility: The open access system allows published articles to reach a broader international audience, thereby increasing the citation potential for authors.
Author Copyright: Authors retain the copyright to their scholarly work while granting the journal the right of first publication.
